This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity on electronic smoking behavior among Generation Z women in Padang City. This research used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis. The subjects consisted of 61 Generation Z women who use electronic cigarettes, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using two scales: the conformity scale and the electronic smoking behavior scale. The analysis results showed a significance value of 0.013 (p < 0.05) with a t-count of 2.554, greater than the t-table value of 2.001, and a determination coefficient (R2) of 0.100. These findings indicate that peer conformity has a significant effect on electronic smoking behavior among Generation Z women in Padang City, contributing 10% to the behavior, while the remaining 90% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, the higher the level of peer conformity, the higher the tendency for Generation Z women to engage in electronic smoking behavior.
